My English learning history.

My name is Antton and i'm 16 years old. I've allways loved English. In kindergarten we learned curse words and lines from cartoons like Tom and Jerry and TV shows like Bonanza. In school we started learning English in the third grade. It was easy to learn becouse in the book was funny charcters and the plot wasn't too bad either.
I traveld to the UK when i was 13 years old. I was staying in London for two weeks. I really loved being there, I didin't do much sightseeing, but I saw the London eye and Big Ben. In London I spoke with the local people.
England is a beautiful country, I'd like to see the country side of England, like lot's and lot's of green hill's and little cottages plus sheep, of course.
English is, (at least I think so) the most usefull of all the languages, becouse you can speak it anywhere. It's like music, where ever you go people will understad what you have to say.
Like any other language English opens doors and gives you opportunities, and that's why I wan't to keep developing, and so should you.

  1. Like you, I feel that English opens many doors, but I also think that knowing other foreign languages is very important as well. You may find out later that there are still places in the world where English is not as well understood as you think.
I hope you will get to see the English countryside one day. Sussex is one of my favourite counties - the hilly landscape by the coast there, known as the 'downs' is breathtakingly beautiful!

  2. Very interesting to read, Antton, and I agree with most of your opinions. The comparing English to music is a very good idea and also true. But I noticed couple of mistakes in the text: You've written "I" with i, becouse should be because, charcters is characters and some other. But those just some typos, that's what I think. You correct those and you have a very good post. Still, well done. And I attend to develop.
